AMMAN — Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Khasawneh on Tuesday decided to limit the official working hours during Ramadan from 9am to 2pm.

 

The official statement excluded the employees of the departments whose nature of work necessitates extended working hours, as arranged with administrative departments.

 

The official working hours will revert to their previous state after Ramadan.

 

Khasawneh urged all ministries, official departments, and public and private institutions to preserve the holiness of Ramadan and be considerate of the feelings of devotees who fast.
