Jordan recorded 15 deaths and 1,061 new coronavirus cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 764,983.

 

 

The death toll has risen to 9,963.

-83 in Irbid

 

-63 in Balqa

 

-51 in Tafilah

 

-47 in Jerash

 

-30 in Ajloun

 

-25 in Madaba

 

-20 in Mafraq

 

-19 in Karak

 

-17 in Aqaba

 

-Four in Ma'an

 

-One in Ramtha

 

A total of 61 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 53 have been discharged upon recovery.

 

There are a total of 8,060 active COVID-19 cases.

 

There are 513 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

 

A total of 23,888 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 8,348,413.

 

Sunday, 4.44 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 2.92 percent on Saturday.
