Jordan records 343 new COVID-19 cases today

AMMAN — The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded today reached 7, according to the Ministry of Health, while a total of 343 new cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Friday, bringing the death toll to 9,577 and the caseload to 742,521.
 
The ministry added in a statement that some 54 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 68 others were admitted.
 
The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 7,862, according to the ministry’s statement.
 
Around 2.16 percent of the 21,629 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
