AMMAN — The Princess Taghrid Institute for Development and Training (PTI) and Naua, a Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) initiative established in partnership with the private sector, on Sunday signed an agreement to allocate funding to top charity projects that will be listed on the the Naua e-platform.

 

PTI Director General Aghadir Jweihan and Naua CEO Ahmad Zu’bi signed the agreement in the presence of the CPF CEO Tamam Mango and several officials, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

 

Under the agreement, individuals and companies will have the opportunity to get acquainted with PTI programmes and offer support any of them. The institute will then use these donations to implement the projects according to a clear action plan agreed upon with Naua.

 

Jweihan voiced appreciation for these efforts in providing sustainability for such productive projects, expressing hope that the cooperation will benefit PTI projects in Irbid, Jerash, Ajloun, the Jordan Valley and Amman, so as to continue reaching more poverty pockets.  

 

“Such schemes can provide self-empowerment and economic independence for women, which can contribute to increasing family income, achieving social security and having a decent living,” she continued.

 

For his part, Zu’bi said that Naua will cooperate with PTI to showcase the programmes on its e-platform with the aim of attracting support and boost the sense of social responsibility in the private sector.

 

A non-profit e-platform, Naua aims at boosting social responsibility at the foundation’s strategy and at connecting the private sector and individuals with non-profit organisations to encourage voluntary and charitable work, according to its website.
