And Britney Spears was back to what she does best as she kicked off her first tour in six years, called Piece of Me, at the MGM National Harbor, Maryland, on Thursday.

 

The Gimme More singer, 36, paraded her toned figure in an array of skimpy sparkly ensembles as she put on an energetic performance for fans.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In one look, Britney, showed off her toned abs in a plunging black and silver jewel-encrusted bra, which had halterneck straps and a choker.

 

She teamed the skimpy item of clothing with a pair of cut-out black hot pants with a diamond and black waist belt.

 

Britney completed the look with a pair of black fishnet tights with thigh-high black leg warmers over the top and a pair of heeled ankle boots.

 

Later on, the mother-of-two switched the jewel-encrusted bra for a red beaded cropped bustier instead.

 

The Toxic hitmaker also changed the top of her outfit for a red and black corset for another outfit change during her performance.

 

Later on in the show, Britney decided to flaunt her enviable physique in an array of revealing leotards, opting for a plunging black number at first and then changing into a daring cut-out pink sparkly bodysuit.

 

And with the outfit changes, came a switch in her hairstyles as she styled her blonde locks into a loose tousled hairdo before changing it to a high ponytail, adding a slick of glamorous make-up.

 

Britney fans looked like they were in for a treat as the singer put on an energetic spectacle, showing off her impressive dance skills with an entourage of backup dancers and even using a whip as a prop.

 

Piece of Me is the Circus hitmaker's ninth tour and first travelling concert in six years after finishing her residency in Las Vegas in 2017.

 

Britney will be travelling around North America and Europe during her highly-anticipated comeback.
