Amman -- The Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) on Saturday opened in Tajikistan's capital, Dushanbe. 

 

27-member states of CICA including Arab states and Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Israel, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Pakistan, South Korea, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, will participate in the summit.

 

The 13 observers which will also participate in the Dushanbe summit include Belarus, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the United States, Ukraine, the Philippines, Japan, the United Nations, the League of Arab States, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-Speaking Countries (TurkPA)
