Jordan recorded 12 deaths and 1,494 new coronavirus cases Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 849,000.

 

 

The death toll has risen to 10,930.

-145 in Zarqa

 

-94 in Aqaba

 

-78 in Balqa

 

-71 in Mafraq

 

-58 in Madaba

 

-47 in Karak

 

-34 in Jerash

 

-33 in Ajloun

 

-16 in Tafilah

 

-12 in Ramtha

 

-10 in Ma'an

 

A total of 82 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 54 have been discharged upon recovery.

 

There are 540 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

 

There are a total of 17,168 active COVID-19 cases.

 

A total of 32,094 PCR tests were conducted.

 

Friday, 4.66 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 5.29 percent Thursday.
