AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), paid a visit on Sunday to the General Command of JAF, according to a Royal Court statement.

His Majesty was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat and discussed with him JAF’s operations and exercises, as well as logistic matters.

King Abdullah commended JAF’s efforts exerted in dealing with the Dead Sea accident, voicing his pride in the security agencies for their preparedness under all circumstances.
