Amman--Minister of political and Parliamentary Affairs Musa Maayteh highlighted the importance of citizens' participation in today's election process and said it is a national interest that would contribute to developing the country.

 

He told Petra that the decentralization and municipal elections held for the first time in Jordan, is directly linked to citizens, who should take part in this process as decentralization helps in implementing development projects and providing job opportunities for the youth.

 

The minister urged citizens to practice their right in voting and select those who will represent them in a fair and transparent manner.
