AMMAN — A video clip showing a woman, who publishers claimed was shot dead by one of the Jordanian lookout guards at Rukban camp, circulated on social media platforms on Sunday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

 

The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) said that the information was incorrect, adding that no shots were fired from any Jordanian lookout points near the camp.

 

The JAF said that some of the camp’s groups circulate such videos to spread hatred and rumours to cover their crimes against the camp’s tenants. JAF affirmed that the camp is inside the Syrian territories, which the JAF does not have access to.
