AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Tareq Hammouri and Turkish businesspeople on Saturday discussed means to further bilateral ties and investment opportunities.
During a virtual meeting, talks went over incentives and facilitations offered by the government, as well as the available investment opportunities in the industry sector, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Hammouri called on Turkish investors to optimise the offered investment incentives, notably income tax exemptions related to profits generated from exporting goods and services from Jordan and transit trade.
Chairman of Jordan Investment Commission Khaled Wazani said that the commission has opened an office to follow up on the investors affairs, highlighting that an employee has been assigned to follow up on the affairs of Turkish investors.
