Ministry follows up on accident involving Jordanians in S. Africa

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Sunday said that it was following up, through the Kingdom’s embassy in South Africa and the operations centre, on a road accident that involved five Jordanians in Cape Town on Saturday, which claimed the life of one of them and wounded the other four.
Ministry Spokesperson Deifallah Fayez said that the ministry had informed the citizens' families about the accident, adding that the body of the accident victim will be transferred to the Kingdom upon the family’s request, according to a ministry statement.
Fayez also said that the injured were taken to hospital, noting that they were listed in stable condition. The spokesperson expressed his condolences to the deceased’s family and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
