Amman-- After a new outbreak of COVID-19 cases in Balqa governorate, the government has decided to impose a blanket curfew on the Sweimah town al-Rawda area to prevent the spread of additional infections, announced the Committee for the Sustainability of Work, Production and Supply Chains based on a recommendation by the Corona Crisis Cell, on Friday.
Starting from six am next Sunday, September 20, the blanket curfew will last for 14 days in these two areas, the committee said.
The administrative governor in the two areas has the authority to open the facilities to allow citizens to secure their basic food supplies, and issue movement permissions for farmers and emergency cases.
