213 new COVID-19 cases in Jordan, including 211 local infections

Amman-- A total of 213 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Jordan on Friday, 211 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 4,344, a statement issued by the Prime Ministry and the Ministry of Health said.
 
The local cases include 104 cases in Amman, 20 cases in Zarqa, 29 cases in Balqaa, 10 cases in Irbid, 30 cases in Karak, three in Ramtha, three in Mafraq, two in Madaba, and nine in Maan.
 
The infections from abroad involve two people travelled from abroad who are currently staying in hotel quarantine.
 
Three COVID-19 deaths were recorded in Jordan on Friday, involving two at Prince Hamza Hospital and one in a private hospital.
 
The total COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 29.
 
A total of 95 recovery cases have been confirmed in Jordan on Friday 20 were discharged from Prince Hamzah Hospital, 63 from isolation areas in the Dead Sea, three from Queen Alia Military Hospital and nine from private hospitals.
 
A total of 11,766 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests since the beginning coronavirus crisis to 1,045,700.
