Syria Says Downed Two Israeli Missiles near capital




The Syrian army on Tuesday night intercepted two Israeli missiles fired towards a district near Damascus, the official SANA news agency said.
According to SANA, "anti-aircraft defenses intercepted two Israeli missiles launched against (the district of) Kissweh and destroyed them."
Rami Abdel Rahman, director of the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, told AFP that missiles targeted an "arms depot belonging to Hizbullah and the Iranians."
