AMMAN — Interior Minister Salameh Hammad on Thursday chaired the first meeting of the national committee for the prohibition of chemical weapons, and reviewed the 2015 Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Law and its implementation requirements.

 

Hammad, who is also president of the Higher Council of Civil Defence, said the meeting aimed at ensuring cooperation and coordination among all stakeholders concerned with monitoring chemical substances, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
