AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Monday met a delegation from the British Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (BGIPU) over enhancing cooperation between both countries.

 

The meeting covered multiple regional and global issues, foremost of which was the Palestinian cause, as well as efforts towards resolving regional crises and anti-terrorism measures, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

 

Safadi acquainted the delegation with the Kingdom's efforts towards resolving the regional crises, realising fair and comprehensive peace and enhancing regional security and stability. He also emphasised the "deep-rooted" strategic relations between both kingdoms, expressing his keenness to further advance bilateral ties.
