AMMAN — A death led to relatives smashing equipment in the ambulance and emergency at Mafraq Governmental Hospital. Hospital Director Mohammad Tahhan said that the deceased person was suffering from some pain and received necessary treatment at the hospital.

 

However, he was brought back to the hospital by the civil defence in the early morning after he had passed away.

 

Tahhan said that the deceased relatives attacked and broke monitors and instruments at the ambulance and emergency section resulting in the intervention of security forces that then contained the situation and handed over the body to be buried.

 

“The Damage was severe but was only limited to material,” the director said.
