Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Tuesday that Israel had achieved its objective of eliminating the “Iranian nuclear and missile threat,” praising former U.S. President Donald Trump for his support during the operation.

 

In statements attributed to his office, Netanyahu confirmed that Tel Aviv had agreed to a ceasefire proposal put forward by Trump. However, he warned that Israel “will respond forcefully to any violation of this agreement.”

 

He added, “We thank President Trump for his unwavering support in defending Israel and for his active role in eliminating the Iranian threat.”
