Temperatures to drop with rain forecast through Tuesday — JMD

AMMAN — Temperatures are forecast to drop noticeably on Sunday, with relatively cold weather prevailing across most regions and milder conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said on Saturday.
 
Low clouds are expected, and winds will be north-westerly and moderate, JMD added as reported by Al Mamlaka TV.
 
At night, it will be cold and partly cloudy in the north and centre of the Kingdom, with a slight chance of light showers in parts of the northern areas, where winds will remain north-westerly and moderate.
 
On Monday, daytime weather will be partly cloudy and relatively cold, and mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. There will be a chance of rainfall in the north and centre of the Kingdom, with north-westerly winds that are moderate to occasionally active.
 
At night, conditions will be cold and partly cloudy to cloudy, with continued chances of showers in the north and centre extending to limited parts of the south-western regions. Winds will be north-westerly, moderate in speed and occasionally active.
 
On Tuesday, temperatures will drop slightly.
 
The weather will be cold and partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy, with rain forecast in the north, later extending to central and south-western areas. Winds will be north-westerly and active, raising dust in desert areas.
 
At night, it will be very cold and partly cloudy, with a continued chance of light rain in western parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be north-westerly and moderate.
