AMMAN — Jordan on Tuesday condemned Israel’s strikes on Syria describing the attacks a blatant violation of international law and a dangerous escalation that undermines the neigbouring country’s sovereignty, security, and stability, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
Sufian Qudah, the ministry’s spokesperson, called for an immediate halt to the attacks and stressed the need to respect Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Qudah reaffirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Syria, emphasizing the Kingdom’s firm support for its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens.
Syria’s stability is a fundamental pillar of regional security, he reiterated.
