AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday received Deputy Commander of the Canadian Joint Operations Command Maj. Gen. Tim Arsenault and his accompanying delegation at the General Command headquarters.
During the meeting, attended by the Canadian Ambassador to Jordan and several senior Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) officers, discussions focused on military cooperation and joint coordination in various training and logistical fields, in a manner that contributes to enhancing the military capabilities of the armed forces of the two countries, according to a JAF statement.
Huneiti reiterated the depth of the military relations between Jordan and Canada, praising the level of existing cooperation and its role in exchanging expertise and raising readiness to confront shared challenges.
For his part, Arsenault commended the efforts of the Jordan Armed Forces in maintaining regional security and stability, stressing the importance of strengthening bilateral military cooperation across various domains.
