AMMAN — Fragments from an airborne device fell in Aqaba on Tuesday, causing material damage but no injuries, according to the Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army (JAF).

 

An army source said the debris struck a vehicle, resulting in minor damage, while security and specialised military teams were immediately dispatched to the scene to handle the incident.

 

The JAF said an investigation has been launched to determine the source and circumstances of the explosion, according to an army statement.
