AMMAN — Prime Minister Jafar Hassan met with the National Charter Party on Wednesday as part of a new round of meetings with political parties aimed at strengthening dialogue and consultation across various sectors.
The meeting, attended by a number of ministers, focused on key issues, particularly the next phase of the political modernisation programme, according to a Prime Ministry statement.
Hassan also briefed party representatives on the government’s ongoing work and its policies on a range of issues.
Over the past two years, Hassan has held a series of meetings with parliamentary party blocs, professional associations and representatives of various organisations and sectors.
The meetings were in line with the government’s commitment to maintaining open channels of communication and consultation, the statement said.
