AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah participated yesterday in a joint call with world leaders, including United States President Donald Trump.
The call addressed ways to sustain the ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran, as well as ways to achieve comprehensive and lasting calm that restores stability to the region, according to a Royal Court statement.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Egypt President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the prime minister of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Pakistan Chief of the Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir also participated in the call.
