Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said on Sunday "meaningful progress" had been achieved in US and Iran ‌negotiations, offering ‌grounds for ‌optimism ⁠that a positive and ⁠durable outcome is within reach.

 

Earlier in the ⁠day, Pakistan's Prime ‌Minister ‌Shehbaz Sharif congratulated ‌US President ‌Donald Trump for what he described as "extraordinary efforts" ‌to pursue peace, adding ⁠that Pakistan remained ⁠committed to continuing talks and hoped to host the next round soon.
