AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Majdi Mohammad Harasis on Thursday received Czech Ambassador to Jordan Andrea Koutcherova at his office at the General Command.

 

During the meeting, Harasis and Koutcherova discussed cooperation and coordination between the armed forces of the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them in various military and defence fields, according to a Jordan Armed Forces -Arab Army (JAF) statement.

 

Koutcherova expressed her appreciation for the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army’s role in supporting security and stability in the region, praising the strong relations between Jordan and the Czech Republic.

 

She also affirmed her country’s keenness to continue strengthening cooperation and coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces in various fields.

 

The meeting was attended by a number of senior JAF officers and the Czech defence attaché in Amman.
