AMMAN — The Jordanian mobile bakery operating in Gaza has produced nearly 11,797,580 loaves of bread since launching its operations in January 2025, according to the World Central Kitchen (WCK), which oversees the facility.
The bakery, established in Gaza on 24 December 2024 under Royal directives to alleviate the suffering of people in the war-torn Strip, operates around the clock and turns out 70,000 loaves of bread daily to meet the needs of residents across Gaza and ensure a steady supply of bread, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The World Central Kitchen is an international non-governmental organisation that provides meals and food assistance to communities affected by conflict and natural disasters worldwide.
