AMMAN — Ad-Dulayl Development Zone has invited local and international investors to explore opportunities in its Phase 3 expansion, which covers around 387,000 square metres and aims to attract new industrial projects and support export growth.

Ad-Dulayl Industrial Park and Real Estate Company (IDMC) said on Sunday that the expansion would accommodate investments in garments, textiles, food processing, packaging, logistics, warehousing and other manufacturing activities.

The project will also offer opportunities for workers’ accommodation, commercial facilities and services supporting industrial operations, according to the company.

IDMC said that investors can purchase or lease industrial land or opt for built-to-suit solutions, under which facilities are designed and developed to meet specific technical and operational requirements. These may include factories, warehouses, administrative offices, utility facilities and workers’ accommodation.

The company also said that the expansion aims to attract new regional and international investors while encouraging businesses already operating in Jordan to expand or relocate part of their manufacturing operations to the zone.

Located in Zarqa Governorate, around 30 kilometres from Amman, Ad-Dulayl Development Zone offers access to transport networks, logistics services and domestic markets.

The zone also provides access to government and business services, including customs, labour, public security, civil defence, freight forwarding and customs clearance.

IDMC said that eligible projects can benefit from development zone incentives, including a 5 per cent income tax rate on qualifying activities, customs duty exemptions on production inputs and equipment in accordance with applicable legislation, and 100 per cent foreign ownership, subject to relevant laws and regulations.

Investors can also benefit from Jordan’s trade agreements with markets including the United States, Arab countries, the European Union and Canada, subject to the terms of each agreement.

The company said it would promote the expansion’s investment opportunities through engagement with embassies, diplomatic missions, chambers of commerce and industry and investment promotion institutions.

The expansion builds on the zone’s existing industrial base and aims to attract investments that support manufacturing, exports and job creation.
