AMMAN — Jordan Post ranked among the world’s top 10 postal operators out of 192 countries in the Postal Development Index’s digital transformation indicators, covering e-government services, e-commerce and cybersecurity.
Jordan Post scored 10 out of 10 in active digital dimensions, 100 in digital coverage breadth and 69.1 in digital development depth, achieving a composite score of 84.5 out of 100, according to the Universal Postal Union’s (UPU) 2026 annual statistical report, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The results reflect progress in developing digital postal services and strengthening cybersecurity, contributing to the modernisation of the sector.
Jordan Post attributed its international standing to modernisation plans and technical capabilities aimed at improving postal, financial, digital, logistics and e-commerce services in line with international standards.
The index assesses postal operators’ digital development based on indicators including active digital dimensions, digital coverage breadth, digital development depth and overall performance.
