AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi met on Saturday in Riyadh with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan for talks on bilateral relations and regional developments.

 

The talks came as part of ongoing coordination and consultation between the two countries, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

 

The two ministers discussed ways to strengthen the longstanding relations between the two kingdoms and expand cooperation across various sectors.

 

They also exchanged views on regional issues, focusing in particular on efforts to consolidate the ceasefire in Gaza, advance to the second phase of the agreement, and halt the dangerous escalation in the occupied West Bank.
