AMMAN — Jordan has digitised 74 per cent of its government services, according to the latest Executive Programme Report for the Economic Modernisation Vision (2023–2025), which details progress under the “Future Services” pillar of the ICT sector for the third quarter of 2025.

 

The report showed that 1,778 services have been digitised to date. It also noted that four companies benefited during the quarter from the “Grow Jordan, Business Development” programme, while 3,000 individuals completed training under the Digital Skills Enablement Project implemented by the Digital Skills Association.

 

Progress was also recorded on infrastructure projects, with procurement finalised and construction launched for new government service centres in Mafraq, Zarqa and Russeifa.

 

In parallel, 10 government institutions were assessed, with evaluation outputs completed under the initiative to upgrade digital transformation infrastructure, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

 

Job creation remained a key outcome of the Grow Jordan programme, generating more than 150 jobs through agreements supporting salaries for newly hired employees. Another 150 beneficiaries received training to promote their services on digital freelance platforms.

 

The quarter also saw an investor forum connecting potential German investors with Jordanian start-ups, attracting participation from over 40 emerging companies.

 

The report further highlighted progress in digital skills training, with 125 young people aged 18–35 completing cloud computing courses across several governorates. Additional trainees were recruited from Karak, Irbid, Maan and Zarqa to develop skills that enhance their readiness for the labour market.
