AMMAN —The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said on Monday that emergency service personnel dealt with over 350 reports of incidents caused by falling objects and debris across most governorates of the Kingdom since February 28, with no new injuries recorded.

 

The Civil Defence Department (CDD) and police personnel inspected 356 scenes of debris and falling objects, Police Spokesperson Lt. Col. Amer Sartawi said.

 

“There was only one reported minor injury of a child in Irbid,” Sartawi told The Jordan Times.

 

Sartawi urged citizens to adhere to instructions issued by the PSD and relevant authorities and to contact the unified emergency number (911) in the event of any sightings.

 

The police official reiterated previous calls by the PSD to refrain from approaching any suspicious object under any circumstances due to the extreme danger it may pose to the public.
