AMMAN — Gold prices rose in the local market on Monday, according to the evening price list published by the General Syndicate of Jewellery and Jewellery Shop Owners.
According to the evening price, the selling price of a gramme of 21-karat gold, the most desired by citizens, reached JD75.8 for the purpose of selling from goldsmiths' shops, compared to JD73.3 for the purchase side.
The selling price of one gramme of 24, 18 and 14 karats of gold for the purpose of buying from goldsmiths' shops was JD86.7, JD67.1 and JD51.1, respectively, Al Mamlaka TV reported.
