AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), HRH Prince Feisal on Thursday attended the graduation ceremony of aviation cadets/55 at the King Hussein Air College.

Upon arrival at the ceremony venue, Prince Feisal was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti and the commander of the Royal Jordanian Air Force, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The ceremony commenced with the Royal Anthem, after which Prince Feisal inspected the parade of graduates, who marched past the main stage in both slow and regular formations.

The commandant of King Hussein Air College said, “Today, we present a new group of guardians of the homeland and falcons of the skies, after receiving training that qualifies them to carry out the duties and missions entrusted to them, equipped with knowledge, expertise and practical training under the supervision of distinguished instructors and academic staff.”

“This new cohort joins those who preceded them in defending the skies and security of Jordan,” the commander said.

He added that the college continues to keep pace with developments in aviation sciences and technical training, noting that aviation curricula have been updated in line with current requirements.

The JAF mufti addressed the graduates, urging them to uphold sincerity and dedication in defending the homeland, protecting the faith and safeguarding the land.

Prince Feisal presented the wings to the graduates and distributed awards to top-performing cadets in their respective specialisations.

The ceremony also featured an aerial display by Royal Jordanian Air Force fighter, helicopter and training aircraft, which carried out a series of formations and combat demonstrations.
