The report showed that national initiatives were implemented to raise cybersecurity awareness and build capacity in partnership with the public and private sectors and local communities.

 

These efforts included specialised training for 22 schools and 10 universities on "Capture the Flag" competition challenges.

 

Also, 77 government entities were trained and monitored via the "Wai" platform, phishing campaigns were launched to measure employee awareness, and 44 awareness workshops were held for 5,664 employees.

 

The report noted that 282 students graduated from the fifth cohort of the "MASAR" programme, which equips enrolled cybersecurity students for the labour market through specialised field training.

 

Graduations were also held for participants in the ninth and tenth “Nashama” bootcamps, which train fresh cybersecurity graduates through intensive four-month programmes focused on practical skills.

 

The report added that local strategic partnerships were fostered to enhance Jordan's regional and international role through several memoranda of understanding with various entities.

 

Institutions were supported in implementing the Jordanian National Cybersecurity Framework through business modelling courses, quantum risk calculation and risk management training, and capacity-building workshops for senior management and technical units across nine government entities.
