Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced Sunday that its fighters targeted an 'Israeli' ground force of 11 soldiers in the town of Abasan, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, using an anti-personnel shell.

 

The group said the attack resulted in casualties, including both dead and wounded.

 

In a separate statement, the Brigades said they fired a salvo of short-range 114mm "Rajoum" rockets at the 'Israeli' settlement of Magen, located near the Gaza border.

 

The attacks come amid ongoing clashes between Palestinian resistance groups and 'Israeli' forces across the Gaza Strip.
