Temperatures today, Sunday, are expected to be around 3–4 degrees Celsius below their seasonal averages. The weather will be relatively cold and partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy across most regions, with scattered showers expected in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom, as well as limited areas of the eastern and southwestern regions. Thunderstorms may occur at times in the far northeastern Badia.

 

 

During the early morning hours, rainfall could be heavy for short periods in limited areas of northern and central Jordan. Winds will be westerly and moderate, becoming occasionally active.

 

In its report, the Jordan Meteorological Department warned of possible flash floods during the early morning hours in limited areas of northern and central Jordan, including the Dead Sea region. It also cautioned about reduced horizontal visibility during the morning and nighttime hours due to fog over mountainous areas and parts of the Badia and plains.

 

Additional warnings included reduced visibility caused by dust in Badia areas and slippery roads in locations experiencing rainfall.

 

According to the report, Monday’s weather will be sunny and relatively cold across most regions, while remaining moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate and easterly.

 

On Tuesday, temperatures will rise slightly, bringing pleasant conditions to most regions and moderate weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Some medium-altitude clouds are expected over eastern Jordan, with moderate southeasterly winds.

 

Temperatures will dip slightly again on Wednesday, bringing relatively cold conditions to most regions, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba will remain moderate. High-altitude clouds are expected, with moderate northwesterly winds.

* Northern Highlands: 15°C / 7°C

* Sharah Highlands: 14°C / 6°C
