AMMAN — The Board of Directors of the Jordan Press Foundation (JPF) on Monday appointed Hassan Jazzazi as the foundation’s new director general, succeeding Hiyam Karaki, who has been named Advisor to the Board.
Jazzazi brings more than 30 years of experience in public governance, social security, and financial auditing. He has a strong track record in strategic planning, policy formulation, and institutional performance development, a JPF statement said.
He has held leadership and board positions in several major national institutions, most notably the Social Security Corporation (SSC), where he oversaw supervisory and regulatory operations that contributed to strengthening institutional stability and transparency.
A holder of a bachelor’s degree in financial and banking sciences, Jazzazi previously served on Al Rai’s Board of Directors, where he was a member of the financial, administrative, governance, risk, and nominations committees, as well as the central tenders committee.
At the SSC, he also served as a social insurance advisor and principal member of the insurance rights settlement committee, in addition to supervising insurance and administrative operations at the Director General’s Office.
The appointment is part of Al Rai’s ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional performance and develop its administrative structure in line with the organisation’s growth and professional transformation strategy.
