‘Israeli’ forces targeted a car directly outside the entrance of Tebnine Governmental Hospital in southern Lebanon, killing one person and injuring 11 others, including two in critical condition, the Lebanese Health Ministry reported.
A statement from the ministry’s Health Emergency Operations Center confirmed the attack occurred near a medical facility, causing panic and chaos in the area. Medical teams at the hospital and emergency responders provided first aid and transferred critical cases for immediate treatment.
The strike comes one day after ‘Israel’ issued urgent warnings to residents of several southern Lebanese villages to evacuate, claiming Hezbollah was attempting to rebuild military infrastructure.
In a strongly worded statement Friday, the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) condemned the airstrikes as a “violation” of UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and a direct threat to the “fragile stability” along the Blue Line.
‘Israel’ has repeatedly carried out strikes in Lebanon despite a ceasefire agreement signed with Hezbollah last November.
