AMMAN — A ministerial delegation on Monday began a European tour in preparation for the Jordan–EU Investment Conference, scheduled to take place in Jordan next April.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Investment, the tour is part of government efforts to ensure the conference strengthens Jordan’s presence in European markets, translates the Jordan–EU Strategic Partnership into implementable investment projects, and advances the development and economic goals of both sides.

The delegation includes Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yaarub Qudah, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan, Minister of Investment Tareq Abu Ghazaleh, and Jordan’s Ambassador to Brussels Yousef Al-Bataina.

In Brussels, the delegation held a high-level dialogue at the European Commission headquarters with European Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Suica, alongside representatives from European business associations, financial institutions, and private-sector companies.

The delegation also met at the Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, where ministers highlighted Jordan’s competitive advantages, investment opportunities, and business-friendly environment to Belgian private-sector representatives.

The delegation will continue a series of meetings aimed at showcasing high-value investment opportunities in Jordan and exploring new avenues for cooperation between Jordan and the European Union.

The Jordan–EU Investment Conference is one of the key outcomes of the Jordan–EU Summit earlier this month, where His Majesty King Abdullah met with European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

During the summit, His Majesty reiterated Jordan’s commitment to holding the investment conference in April, underlining its role in strengthening economic and investment partnerships with the EU.
