AMMAN — On the occasion of its seventh anniversary, Al Mamlaka TV announced on Wednesday the official launch of Al Mamlaka English, a new English-language news platform that, it said, targets “global audiences.”

“This milestone marks an important expansion of the broadcaster’s mission to provide high-quality public service journalism, now reaching wider regional and international audiences,” Al Mamlaka TV said in a statement to The Jordan Times.

Al Mamlaka TV said its English-language platform “builds on the core values that have defined AlMamlaka TV since its establishment in 2018: credibility, context, and commitment to the public interest. Led by a dedicated team of digital journalists, editors, and multimedia producers, the platform delivers original news and storytelling from Jordan in English, connecting local voices with global audiences.”

Designed with a digital-first approach, Al Mamlaka said the new platform “operates across social media platforms, with a dedicated website currently in development.”

“The platform covers a broad range of topics, including politics, society, the economy, culture, sports, innovation, and climate, all tailored for international readers, the Jordanian diaspora, and global citizens seeking informed perspectives from the region.”

CEO of Al Mamlaka TV Jafer Zoubi was quoted in the statement as saying that, “Al Mamlaka English is a strategic extension of our mission to provide credible journalism in the public interest. It reflects our commitment to broadening Jordan’s voice and engaging meaningfully with audiences beyond our borders.”

According to the editorial team, “Al Mamlaka English is not simply a translation of Arabic content. It is a dedicated space to inform, engage, and connect with diverse English-speaking audiences, delivering journalism that is both local in insight and international in relevance.”

“With the launch of this new platform, Al Mamlaka reaffirms its role in amplifying Jordan’s voice on the global stage, strengthening dialogue, and fostering understanding through trusted, contextual journalism,” the statement said.
