AMMAN — The Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) said on Thursday that Iran had targeted the Kingdom’s territory within the past 24 hours.
JAF’s Media Directorate said that the Royal Jordanian Air Force has successfully intercepted and destroyed a missile that had been heading towards a site inside of the Kingdom.
The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that its units responded to four incidents involving falling shrapnel and projectiles during the same period.
PSD said that no injuries were recorded as a result of the incidents, with only some material damage reported.
He warned against approaching any suspicious objects or debris, stressing the need to follow instructions through official sites.
He also urged the public to report any suspicious objects via the emergency number 911, and to rely on official sources while avoiding rumors and misleading news.
