His Majesty the King returned to Jordan on Saturday after participating in the G7 Summit in Italy.

 

On Friday, the King met with leaders, heads of governments, and delegations participating in the summit.

 

During these meetings, His Majesty reiterated the need for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the protection of civilians. He called for effective coordination and unification of humanitarian response efforts in Gaza to prevent the ongoing tragedy.

 

His Majesty emphasized the importance of continuing to send sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza and maintaining support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
