US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was the main obstacle to ceasefire negotiations in Gaza.

 

Blinken emphasized the need for Israeli Occupation to turn its military success into strategic gains, and stressed US efforts to secure a permanent diplomatic solution, particularly in Lebanon.

 

He also highlighted US plans for Gaza’s future governance and security and reiterated that Israeli Occupation must increase humanitarian aid to Gaza.
