Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan emphasized that no one has stood in support of Palestine like King Abdullah II, stating that Jordan has been unwavering in its backing of the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state on their land throughout the decades.

During a cabinet meeting on Saturday, Hassan highlighted Jordan’s unity and resilience, noting that the nation will not tolerate any breaches of the law or attempts by internal or external forces to exploit the emotions of its people during these challenging times for political gain.

Hassan underscored that while expressing solidarity with Palestinians is a shared sentiment among all Jordanians, incitement that endangers the nation’s security and the safety of its citizens is entirely unacceptable.

"Jordan's security, stability, and the well-being of its citizens are paramount," Hassan said. "Our national interest is our top priority, and the strength of our nation directly supports the resilience of our Palestinian brothers."

He further stressed that Jordan will not allow chaos or instability to undermine its achievements, built through the wisdom and leadership of its government. He reaffirmed the country’s commitment to rejecting any attempts to bring unrest or destruction into Jordan, adding, "We will not be a stage for discord, nor will we risk the future of this country. We trust in the awareness, patriotism, and unity of our people, and we remain committed to upholding our national principles and the rule of law."
