Palestinian journalists Anas al-Sharif and Mohammad Qraiqa, and several other journalists were killed in an “Israeli” strike that targeted the gate of the Al-Shifa Hospital, Roya correspondent reported just now.
The director of Al-Shifa Hospital confirmed that the two were killed in an “Israeli” airstrike on their tent in front of the building.
Al-Shifa Hospital is located in Gaza City, where “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced earlier today that the military will start its full takeover as part of a new plan to “defeat Hamas”.
Five journalists in total were killed in the strike. In addition to Anas al-Sharif, Mohammad Qraiqa – Ibrahim Daher, Mohammad Nofal, and Mosab al-Sharif were killed.
The “Israeli” military confirmed Monday it killed prominent Gazan journalist Anas Al-Sharif, claiming he “posed as a journalist for Al Jazeera who served as the head of a terrorist cell” in Hamas.
The statement by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) further claims Al-Sharif was “responsible for advancing rocket attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops.”
