AMMAN — Eid Al Fitr will begin on Friday , March 20 , corresponding to the 1st of Shawwal, 1447, the Kingdom’s Grand Mufti, Ahmad Hassant announced on Thursday.

 

Hasanat indicated, during a religious moon sighting ceremony in Amman, that Friday marks the first day of Shawwal.
