The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said this morning it intercepted a drone approaching from the east over southern “Israel” in the Dead Sea area on Tuesday.

 

"A UAV that crossed into Israeli territory from the east was intercepted by the IAF (Israeli air force)," the IOF said in a statement, without specifying the drone's origin.

 

The Iranian-backed group “The Islamic Resistance in Iraq” claimed the attack, saying that it targeted a “strategic location” in south “Israel”.

 

This marks the sixth drone attack by the group today – according to the statement
