French police announced on Friday the arrest of a man at the Iranian consulate in Paris, according to sources.

 

A source from the French police stated that a man who threatened to detonate himself at the Iranian consulate in Paris was apprehended, after French police earlier cordoned off the Iranian consulate.

 

The man was reportedly seen around 11 AM entering the consulate, "carrying what appeared to be an explosive device and a suicide vest," according to Reuters.
